Our client is one of the largest organisations on the Maltese Islands and is seeking to recruit a Social Media Content Producer to join their team.
You will be producing content in line with the brand’s communication strategies and content production initiatives for multiple channels. This, you will be doing from planning to development and may include but not limited to; writing and proof reading, creating visual content for web, social media, adverts, blogs and presentations. As the Social Media Content Producer, you will be managing, curating and updating the brand’s online social platforms including messaging and posting on multiple digital channels. As part of the role, you will develop and manage a content calendar to maximise impact from organic and paid content dissemination. You will also actively work to increase online presence and engagement by suggesting content and communication initiatives. Existing content and its management also falls under the remit of the role. Other administrative tasks in relation to content production operations may be assigned.
You must preferably have a tertiary level of education in communications, design, creative arts or equivalent and/or 2 years’ experience in such a role. Fresh graduates will also be considered. You should also have excellent copywriting skills, be capable of using Photoshop and/or illustrator and have the skills to create own design style and follow existing brand design guidelines if necessary. As the Social Media Content Producer, you will have excellent understanding of social media platforms and related advertising/communication channels. The job entails the use of a content management systems. Basic awareness of SEO, HTML, CSS Editors or Video Editing/ Animation Software would be advantageous. High attention to detail in addition to excellent verbal and communication skills are a must.
