Kris Bajada has withdrawn from the upcoming KSU elections this morning. Bajada informed the public by posting a statement explaining his struggles as an independent candidate.
Bajada was contesting for the presidential role within KSU, he was running alone for the second year in a row. “Partisan divisions have too strong a hold on campus” said Bajada in his statement.
He stated that many a time students do not consider what a candidate has to offer but rather which side they are on. “This election should not be about red and blue”. Bajada said that he has taken all this into consideration and “regrettably” has made his decision to not run. Bajada also said that he will find another way to contribute to KSU or to helping the students.
