MaKS faculty collects donations for Food Bank

The Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences is once again collecting food items to be donated to the Valletta food bank. Anyone interested in contributing to this cause may do so by depositing any food item in a box available by the Faculty’s reception desk on level 3 by this Friday, 30th November.

The food bank provides supplies for families in a crisis, the majority of whom are facing financial difficulties. Many of these families are referred to the food bank by other organisations such as Appoġġ.

Those interested in donating may donate milk, canned fish, fruit juice, pasta, rice, couscous and noodles, cooking oil, soup, canned tomatoes, breakfast cereal, baked beans, biscuits or snack bars, tomato paste, tea bags, passata, instant coffee, canned fruit, sugar, canned vegetables, jam, canned meat or instant mashed potatoes. On the other hand, those interested in making monetary donations should contact the faculty officer Ms Marvic Cuschieri.

The Faculty thanks all contributors for their support for such noble causes.
