The Department of English Students Association, DESA is organising its annual book sale, during which academic books, young adult and adult novels, classics and critical works are sold at a cheaper price. The book sale will be held from the 17th till the 19th of October, between 10am and 3pm on the University Library Terrace.
The student organisation explained that this year they will be selling the largest amount of books they’ve ever sold. The books are given to the organisation by students who no longer need the books, and the organisation then sells these books at a cheaper price.
DESA is the bridge between the student body and the Department of English. Since its inception and its official launch on the 17th October 2006, DESA has organised a significant number of high quality events relating to the fields of literature, culture and the humanities in general, their most highly anticipated is in fact the Annual Book Sale.
