MCAST Institute of Business Management and Commerce director apologises to students who have not yet received all the results for the exams held last December. The institute’s director confirms that most of the pending results are to be sent out to students by this morning.
Regarding students’ claim that the resits for these exams are held in May, when asked how students are expected to study for their second sitting in a week, the director said “There are no synoptic sessions planned to be held in a week’s time”.
The director apologised to the affected students for the delay and any inconvenience it may have caused. Regarding the results pending he claimed that “Vocational coordinators as well as DDPMS are also chasing any corrections that may still be pending”.
Furthermore, the institute’s director said that in order to avoid the reoccurrence of this situation, modifications have been made to the system. Lecturers will themselves be able to provide students the results once they are internally verified, “without the need to administration to stay processing results, as this was resulting in a bottleneck.”
