The UoM Futsal team has been living on the fast lane. Since their beginning in 2015, Uom’s Futsal team had made great advances in their tactical work and overall performance - making it to the elite group of Futsal teams in Malta. In order to make sure that the team is purely a team made out of students, Uom Futsal only allowed Junior College students, University students and those who graduated up until two years ago, to make the team.
Now KSU has announced the beginning of a new era; Junior College students will be having their own futsal team.
KSU has always been pro-sport and constantly promotes sports amongst University students. After a great success from UoM’s Futsal Team, KSU believes that introducing the new JC Futsal team is a must. The team will be the first of its kind and will be run by students for students.
This novice project is being executed in collaboration with Uom’s Futsal team and KSJC. KSU will also be collaborating with Pulse and SDM, the two student political organisations, in order to help promote JC’s Futsal team amongst students.
KSU’s vision is long-term one, and aims at helping the organisation become self-sufficient and independent. Players will also be given the opportunity to improve in their game while furthering their studies at the University of Malta.
