The Faculty of Media and Knowledge sciences (MaKS) have decided to contribute towards the decreasing resources at the Valletta Foodbank.

The Foodbank is an organisation which helps individuals and families in need by providing them nutritionally balanced food which can last up to 7-days. The Foodbank has been experiencing a crisis as its pantry is at an all-time low and is urging the public for help. The MaKS Faculty will be collecting food items as well as monetary contributions throughout the month of February and will be presenting the donations in the beginning of March.

Food items which are needed the most include: Breakfast Cereal, Tinned fruit, Tinned vegetables, Oil, Tea bags max size 80 bags, Instant coffee 50gr (Max size 200gr), Sugar and Milk (UHT).

Students from all faculties are encouraged to contribute to this cause. Interested individuals are kindly requested to deposit the food items in the depository box provided at the MaKS Faculty reception area on level 3. Those who are interested in making monetary donations are kindly requested to contact the Faculty Officer, Ms. Marvic Cuschieri in her office at MKS612.

Giving back is as important as receiving, so let’s all come together as a student body to help those in need.
