Student organisations tackle health and wealth

The Association of Students of Commercial Studies, ASCS, in collaboration with a number of other organisations, will be holding a campaign called ‘Health is Wealth’ this week. This campaign is aimed at informing and educating the student body of the financial effects, costs and benefits of living a healthy life style, or otherwise.

ASCS explained that “In the fast-moving world we live in, it is easy to fall into a never-ending cycle of over studying and a bad diet. This can lead to a negative impact on both your physical and mental health along with inappropriate spending”. Hence, the organisations decided to tackle three major aspects; Physical Activity, Nutrition and Mental Health.

Students may take part in various discussions, activities, workshops and much more. This campaign will be held from the 26th of November till the 2nd of December.

ASCS will be collaborating with UoM Futsal, MMSA, MHSA, Betapsi, Wolves Rugby, UoM Rowing, Fondazzjoni Pippo and the National Blood Transfusion Service.
