Insite is a student-run, non-profit, independent media organisation based at the University of Malta. Our main aim is to promote student life and to provide students with a means by which to be heard. Insite also works to raise awareness and encourage debate amongst students, to promote their initiatives in culture and education, and to safeguard their freedom of expression.
We are proud publishers of:
The Insiter, a periodical magazine distributed at the University of Malta, the University of Malta Junior College, St. Aloysius College, De La Salle College, Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary, Malta College of Arts and Technology and other post-secondary institutions in Malta.
theinsiter.org, the university student news portal, updated daily.
InsiterTV, a dedicated Youtube Channel featuring student news. www.youtube.com/insitemalta
We also organise:
The IC Weekend, held during the first weekend in November: dedicated media and journalism workshops targeted towards students.
This year, the main objective is to build upon the success of previous years, mainly by improving the magazine and website, while at the same time increasing interest and participation from students. Insite also seeks to further its international partnerships while reinforcing its position as one of the leading student organisations on campus.
